Program Description

Event Details

Dr. Adam Steiner, Ph.D. - Neuroscientist and Associate Professor of Psychology & Behavioral Neuroscience at MNSU - provides an accessible introduction to the rapidly growing field of direct-to-consumer neurotechnology, including devices such as transcutaneous stimulators, wearable biosensors, and emerging brain-computer interfaces. Participants will learn what these technologies can—and cannot—do, followed by interactive demonstrations that show the technology in action.

Don't miss this chance to learn about how neurotech is evolving toward everyday applications, from responsive prosthetics to future smart glasses with embedded neural monitoring. A Q&A-driven format encourages open discussion about the neuroscience behind these tools and their broader social and ethical impact.
